Welcome to The 1% University, LLC (collectively referred to as "The 1% University," "cloudbootcamp.ai," "us," "we," or "our"). We provide website features and access to cloud computing education and mentorship services when you visit or shop at cloudbootcamp.ai, use The 1% University products or services, use The 1% University applications for mobile, or use software provided by The 1% University in connection with any of the foregoing (collectively, "The 1% University Services").

The 1% University provides these services subject to the following conditions.

Agreeing to These Terms & Conditions

We offer a range of cloud computing education and mentorship services depending on your needs. Individuals come to The 1% University to access our educational programs, coaching calls, and career development resources. A majority of these Terms and Conditions will apply to all users and program participants.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE CAREFULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE & SALE (THESE "TERMS") BEFORE ACCESSING, USING, OR SUBSCRIBING OR PLACING AN ORDER OVER WWW.CLOUDBOOTCAMP.AI OR OTHER OF OUR SITES OR ONLINE RESOURCES WHICH LINK TO THESE TERMS.

THESE TERMS CONTAIN DISCLAIMERS OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITIES INCLUDING ARBITRATION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER PROVISIONS THAT WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A COURT HEARING, RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL, AND RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION (SEE SECTIONS 10, 14, 15, AND 16). ARBITRATION IS MANDATORY AND IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY AND ALL DISPUTES UNLESS SPECIFIED BELOW IN SECTION 16. THESE TERMS FORM AN ESSENTIAL BASIS OF OUR AGREEMENT.

The use of cloudbootcamp.ai or other sites or online resources to which these Terms are linked (each, a "Website"), owned and maintained by The 1% University, LLC ("The 1% University," "we," "our," "us"), are governed by these Terms. We offer the Website, including all information, tools, and services available from the Website to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms and conditions stated herein. By accessing, using, subscribing, or placing an order over the Website, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you are not authorized to use the Website in any manner or form whatsoever.

THIS IS A BINDING AGREEMENT. THESE TERMS TOGETHER WITH OUR PRIVACY STATEMENT FORM A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT (THE "AGREEMENT") BETWEEN YOU ("YOU") AND THE 1% UNIVERSITY. THIS AGREEMENT GOVERNS YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE WEBSITE AND THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE 1% UNIVERSITY, ANY ORDER YOU PLACE THROUGH THE WEBSITE, BY TELEPHONE, OR OTHER ACCEPTED METHOD OF PURCHASE AND, AS APPLICABLE, YOUR USE OR ATTEMPTED USE OF THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES OFFERED ON OR AVAILABLE THROUGH THE WEBSITE. PLEASE PRINT AND RETAIN A COPY OF THIS AGREEMENT FOR YOUR RECORDS.

The 1% University reserves the right to update and change, from time to time, these Terms and all documents incorporated by reference by posting updates and/or changes to our Website. Use of the Website after such changes constitutes acceptance of such changes. Any new features or tools which are added to the current Website shall also be subject to the Terms.

SECTION 1 – Website Use

The Website is intended for working professionals seeking to transition into tech careers. If you use the Website, you are affirming that you are at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your state or province of residence (whichever is greater), have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract with us, and have read this Agreement and understand and agree to its terms.

SECTION 2 – Website User Conduct and Restrictions - License Terms

All aspects of our Website are protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws, including all content, information, design elements, text material, logos, taglines, metatags, hashtags, photographic images, testimonials, personal stories, icons, video and audio clips, and downloads. No material on the Website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, uploaded, displayed, posted, or transmitted in any way whatsoever.

The 1% University trademark and logo are proprietary marks of The 1% University, and the use of those marks is strictly prohibited. Nothing herein gives you the right to use, copy, register as a domain name, reproduce, or otherwise display any logo, tagline, trademark, trade name, copyrighted material, patent, trade dress, trade secret, or confidential information owned by The 1% University.

Subject to your continued strict compliance with all Terms, The 1% University provides to you a revocable, limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, non-sublicenseable, non-transferrable license to use the Website. You acknowledge and agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights in any material protected by intellectual property laws.

If you purchase access to The 1% University's educational programs, The 1% University provides to you a revocable, limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicenseable, non-transferrable license to use the educational materials. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • The educational materials are copyrighted material under United States and international copyright laws that is exclusively owned by The 1% University

  • You do not acquire any ownership rights in the educational materials

  • You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale, or create derivative works from the content of the educational materials

  • Except as otherwise expressly permitted under copyright law, you may not copy, redistribute, publish, display or commercially exploit any material from the educational programs without the express written permission of The 1% University

  • In the event of any permitted copying, no changes in or deletion of author attribution, trademark, legend or copyright notice shall be made

You agree not to use or attempt to use the Website, or any educational materials provided by The 1% University, whether alone, or in conjunction with other software or hardware, in any unlawful manner or a manner harmful to The 1% University. You further agree not to commit any harmful or unlawful act including, but not limited to, refraining from:

HARMFUL ACTS. Any dishonest or unethical practice; any violation of the law; infliction of harm to The 1% University reputation; hacking and other digital or physical attacks on the Website; scraping, crawling, downloading, screen-grabbing, or otherwise copying content on the Website; introducing, transmitting, or storing viruses or other malicious code; interfering with the security or operation of the Website; framing or mirroring the Website; creating, benchmarking, or gathering intelligence for a competitive offering; infringing another party's intellectual property rights; intercepting or expropriating data; and the violation of the rights of The 1% University or any third party.

"SPAMMING" AND UNSOLICITED COMMUNICATIONS. We have zero tolerance for spam and unsolicited communications. Any communications sent or authorized by you reasonably deemed "spamming," or any other unsolicited solicitations will be deemed a material threat to The 1% University reputation and to the rights of third parties.

OFFENSIVE COMMUNICATIONS. Any communication sent, posted, or authorized by you which are: sexually explicit, obscene, vulgar, or pornographic; offensive, profane, hateful, threatening, harmful, defamatory, libelous, harassing, or discriminatory; graphically violent; or solicitous of unlawful behavior.

SENSITIVE INFORMATION. You will not import, or incorporate into, any contact lists or other content you upload to any website, software, or other electronic service hosted, provided by or connected to The 1% University, any of the following information: social security numbers, credit card data, passwords, security credentials, bank account numbers, or sensitive personal, health or financial information of any kind.

SECTION 3 – Our Privacy Statement and Your Personal Information

We respect your privacy and the use and protection of your non-public, personal information. Your submission of personal information through the Website is governed by our Privacy Statement. Our Privacy Statement may be viewed here. The 1% University reserves the right to modify its Privacy Statement in its reasonable discretion from time-to-time. Our Privacy Statement is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

SECTION 5 – Order Placement and Acceptance

If you order a service or product, payment must be received by us before your order is accepted. We may require additional information regarding your order if any required information was missing or inaccurate and may cancel or limit an order any time after it has been placed. Your electronic order confirmation, or any form of confirmation, does not signify our acceptance of your order. You must contact us immediately at tayolusi@theonepercentuniversity.io in order to modify or cancel your pending order. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to amend your order in accordance with your instructions.

All items are subject to availability. We will notify you if any item is not available, the expected availability date, and may offer you an alternative product or service. If the availability of any product or service is delayed and you do not wish to substitute the product or service, upon your request, we will cancel your order and if previously charged, your payment card will be fully refunded for that specific order. We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products and services to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction.

Your purchase order of products and other services is conditioned on you re-affirming your acceptance of this Agreement.

All advertised prices are in, and all payments shall be in, U.S. Dollars.

We accept U.S. issued credit and debit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover through our payment processors Stripe and PayPal.

When placing an order online, you will need:

  • The address the card's statement is sent to (billing address)

  • The card number and expiration date

  • The three (3) or four (4) digit code found only on the card (CVV2 code)

By submitting credit card information or other payment information to us, you represent and agree that: (i) you are fully entitled to use that card or account; (ii) all payment information provided is complete and accurate; (iii) you will be responsible for any credit card fees; and (iv) that sufficient funds exist to pay us the amount(s) due.

SECTION 6 – Refunds & Bonuses

Certain of our products and services, including but not limited to The 1% University cloud computing education programs, are subject to a three (3) day right of rescission where you, the buyer, may cancel within three (3) business days of your initial payment. After that time, the company reserves the right on whether or not to issue a refund.

If you cancel, any payments made by you under this contract or sale will be returned to you within 10 days. All cancellation requests must be in writing via email to tayolusi@theonepercentuniversity.io.

If a cancellation is approved, the company will retain a 5% cancellation charge to cover any fees. Please contact the support email address listed above for any questions regarding cancellation or your request.

Resolution of Charges

While the company desires to make every client happy, it understands not everyone will find satisfaction in their experience. For this purpose, you agree to contact us before you attempt to file any dispute or chargeback with your bank or credit card. We will report disputes without a factual basis as fraud, and we reserve the right to send such claims to collections or in some cases we may bring suit. You may reach customer support about concerns at any time by emailing them at tayolusi@theonepercentuniversity.io.

Fair Usage Policy

By using any services, materials, content, training, or products provided by The 1% University, you agree to our Fair Usage Policy which states that if at any time it is determined that you are taking unfair advantage of our offerings, being abusive to staff or fellow students, or engaging in any activity deemed illegal or unethical, you may be removed from our programs without any compensation or refund.

SECTION 7 – Program Terms and Automatic Payment

A 1% University user is responsible for paying all sums due to The 1% University in connection with their program enrollment in accordance with these Terms. The fee payable in accordance with these Terms is due when the user account is set up and payment is a condition of access to our educational programs.

For any subscription-based services, every calendar month, your account will be charged the subscription fee plus applicable tax for the following month's subscription, together with any other fees for the following month's subscription plus any accumulated charges for the past period (collectively "Fees").

Failure by the 1% University user to use any of the services available through the service provided by The 1% University does not relieve the 1% University user of their payment obligations under these Terms. Payment details shall be collected by us through our secure financial data collection mechanism via Stripe and PayPal.

IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL YOUR 1% UNIVERSITY SUBSCRIPTION AT ANY TIME, YOU MUST SUBMIT A CANCELLATION REQUEST TO US VIA OUR SUPPORT EMAIL ADDRESS tayolusi@theonepercentuniversity.io. FOR MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS, WE REQUIRE AT LEAST TEN (10) DAYS' NOTICE OF CANCELLATION BY EMAIL.

The 1% University reserves the right to immediately terminate a user's account and/or service for any unpaid (in whole or part) period of the subscription (with or without notice). Termination of service in no way relieves or excuses the user from any obligation to pay outstanding charges or expenses.

SECTION 8 – Shipping Fees

Unless otherwise stated on the Website at the time of purchase, if we ship you a physical product, we reserve the right to add applicable shipping and handling fees to your order. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to fulfill your order within a reasonable time after receipt of your properly completed and verified order. Accurate shipping address and phone number information is required.

SECTION 9 – Products, Services, and Prices

Products, services, and prices are generally posted at cloudbootcamp.ai, but are subject to change. The 1% University reserves the right, without notice, to discontinue products or services or modify specifications and prices on products and services without incurring any obligation to you. Except as otherwise expressly provided for in these Terms, any price changes to your subscription or purchase of product(s) or services will take effect following email notice to you.

The 1% University takes reasonable steps to ensure that the prices set forth on the Website are correct, and to accurately describe and display the items available on the Website. When ordering products or services, please note that The 1% University does not warrant that product or service descriptions are accurate, complete, current, or error-free. All sales are deemed final except as provided otherwise.

SECTION 10 – Disclaimer – Your Individual Results Will Vary

Every individual's career journey is different, employing different learning approaches and having different backgrounds, skills, and dedication levels. Therefore, individual results will vary from user to user. YOUR INDIVIDUAL RESULTS WILL VARY DEPENDING UPON A VARIETY OF FACTORS UNIQUE TO YOU.

JOB GUARANTEE PROGRAM: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SECTION 1: PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND ELIGIBILITY

1.1 Program Purpose

The Job Guarantee Program is designed for motivated students committed to completing our cloud computing education program and maintaining a consistent, professional job search with our support. This is a performance-based conditional guarantee that requires active participation in both the educational program and the subsequent job search process.

1.2 Basic Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Job Guarantee Program, participants must meet ALL of the following criteria:

A. Age and Legal Status

  • Must be 21 years of age or older at time of enrollment

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check

B. Language Proficiency

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in written English

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in spoken English

  • Language assessment may be required during enrollment process

C. Program Commitment

  • Must commit to completing the program within the maximum 3-month timeframe

  • Must be available to attend mandatory sessions during program duration

  • Must have reliable internet access and appropriate technology for remote participation

1.3 Financial Compliance Requirements

A. Payment Options

Participants must choose ONE of the following payment methods:

  • Full Payment: Complete tuition payment in full before program commencement

  • Payment Plan: Structured payment schedule that must be maintained throughout program

  • Third-Party Financing: Approved financing through designated partners

B. Payment Compliance Standards

  • All payments must be made on time according to agreed schedule

  • Payment plan participants must maintain current status throughout program duration

  • Participants using third-party financing must remain in good standing with financing partner

  • Missed or late payments may result in program suspension pending resolution

SECTION 2: PROGRAM COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

2.1 Academic Performance Standards

A. Coursework Completion

  • Complete 100% of mandatory coursework within the 3-month program timeframe

  • Achieve passing grades on all required assessments and projects

  • Submit all assignments by specified deadlines

  • Incorporate instructor feedback and resubmit work as needed until approved

B. Instructor Approval

  • Receive "job ready" certification from program instructors before graduation

  • Demonstrate proficiency in required technical skills

  • Complete all portfolio projects to professional standards

C. Platform Compliance

  • Mark all videos and modules as complete in the learning platform

  • Maintain accurate progress tracking throughout program duration

  • Complete all interactive elements and assessments

2.2 Attendance Requirements

A. Mandatory Sessions (Attendance Required)

  • Weekly student office hours

  • Weekly lab sessions

  • Scheduled mentorship sessions

  • Networking sessions

  • Career development sessions

B. Attendance Policy

  • Students must attend all mandatory sessions

  • If you must miss a session due to emergency, notify support immediately

  • Excessive absences may affect program standing and guarantee eligibility

2.3 Timeline Compliance

  • Program must be completed within the 3-month period

  • Extensions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for documented emergencies

  • Students should communicate any anticipated challenges early to receive appropriate support

SECTION 3: JOB SEARCH REQUIREMENTS

3.1 Application Volume Standards

A. Recommended Application Activity

  • Target approximately 40 quality job applications per week (160 per month)

  • Applications should include various employment types: full-time, contract, part-time, and freelance opportunities

  • Focus on positions that align with your program specialization and career goals

B. Quality Over Quantity

  • Applications should be tailored to each position

  • Use customized cover letters and relevant portfolio examples

  • Target companies and roles that match your skills and interests

3.2 Networking and Outreach Activities

A. Professional Networking

  • Engage in regular professional networking activities

  • Connect with approximately 5 professionals per week through LinkedIn or industry events

  • Reach out to employees at target companies for informational interviews and referrals

  • Include portfolio links and relevant materials in professional outreach

B. Documentation

  • Maintain a job search tracker with application details, dates, and follow-up activities

  • Track networking activities and outcomes

  • Document interview opportunities and results

3.3 Professional Materials Requirements

A. Resume and Cover Letter

  • Develop a professional resume that meets program standards and receives instructor approval

  • Create customized cover letters using provided frameworks and templates

  • Update materials regularly to reflect new skills and projects

B. Portfolio Development

  • Maintain a professional portfolio showcasing your best work

  • Include program projects with detailed descriptions

  • Ensure portfolio is accessible via personal website or GitHub

  • Create portfolio materials that effectively communicate your skills

C. LinkedIn Professional Presence

  • Maintain a complete, professional LinkedIn profile

  • Profile should be reviewed and approved by program instructors

  • Recommended: Post professional content regularly (aim for several times per week)

  • Alternatively: Utilize company resources for LinkedIn content support

SECTION 4: INTERVIEW PREPARATION AND EXECUTION

4.1 Interview Preparation

  • Complete all program mock interviews

  • Achieve "job ready" certification from interviewing instructors

  • Review available interview resources and best practices

  • Understand the role requirements and how your skills align

4.2 Interview Support Process

  • Notify your mentor when you book an interview

  • Schedule a pre-interview preparation session when available

  • Review your prepared materials and talking points

B. Interview Best Practices

  • Present yourself professionally

  • Utilize interview techniques learned in the program

  • Follow up with a thoughtful thank-you email within 24 hours of the interview

C. Post-Interview Review

  • Schedule a debrief session with your mentor after interviews

  • Discuss what went well and areas for improvement

  • Implement feedback for future interviews

SECTION 5: SUPPORT SERVICES PROVIDED

The program provides:

The program provides:

  • Interview preparation and technique coaching

  • Ongoing support throughout the 6-month active job search period

SECTION 6: JOB PLACEMENT TIMELINE AND OUTCOMES

6.1 Active Job Search Period

A. Timeline

  • Active job placement support provided for 6 months following program graduation

  • Participants must remain actively engaged in job search throughout this period

  • Regular check-ins with career support team to track progress

B. Placement Channels

The program will support job placement through multiple channels:

  • Contract positions with outside companies

  • Full-time positions with outside companies

  • Part-time positions with outside companies

  • Freelance platforms (Upwork, TopTal, Fiverr, etc.)

  • Internal opportunities when available (Black Lotus, Apex Cloud Group)

  • Consulting opportunities when appropriate

6.2 What Constitutes "Job Placement"

For purposes of the guarantee, acceptable job placement includes:

  • Full-time employment in a relevant cloud computing role

  • Contract position of at least 3 months duration

  • Part-time role of at least 20 hours per week

  • Sufficient freelance work to meet minimum income threshold ($30,000 annually)

SECTION 7: REFUND ELIGIBILITY AND PROCESS

7.1 Refund Eligibility Requirements

Participants are eligible for tuition refund consideration if ALL of the following conditions are met:

A. Program Completion

  • Successfully completed 100% of program requirements within the 3-month timeframe

  • Maintained satisfactory attendance at mandatory sessions

  • Achieved "job ready" certification from program instructors

  • Stayed current on all payment obligations

B. Job Search Effort

  • Maintained consistent job search activity for 6 months post-graduation

  • Applied to approximately 160 job applications per month (40 per week)

  • Engaged in regular networking and professional outreach activities (approximately 5 professionals per week)

  • Maintained required professional materials (resume, portfolio, LinkedIn)

  • Participated in interview preparation and followed up appropriately on all interviews

  • Kept job search documentation current in tracking system

C. Program Engagement

  • Attended available mentor sessions and implemented feedback

  • Actively participated in career support services

  • Maintained communication with career support team

  • Demonstrated genuine effort to secure employment

7.2 Refund Review Process

A. Documentation Submission

  • Submit refund request via email to tayolusi@theonepercentuniversity.io

  • Provide comprehensive documentation of job search activities including:

    • Job application tracker with dates, companies, and positions

    • Networking activity log

    • Interview history and outcomes

    • Evidence of maintained professional materials

  • Documentation must be submitted within 30 days of the 6-month job search period ending

B. Review Timeline

  • Initial review completed within 30 business days of complete documentation submission

  • Program may request additional information or clarification

  • Participants will be notified of decision within 10 business days of review completion

  • If approved, refund processed within 30 business days of approval

7.3 Alternative Support Options

If a participant has met all requirements but job placement has not been achieved within the 6-month period, the program may offer:

A. Extended Support

  • Continued one-on-one mentorship and job search support

  • Extended access to program resources and materials

  • Ongoing interview preparation and career development coaching

B. Alternative Opportunities

  • Internal consulting opportunities when available

  • Project-based work through company network

  • Professional development opportunities

C. Full Refund

  • Complete tuition refund if participant chooses not to pursue continued support

  • Refund processed according to timeline specified in Section 7.2.B

SECTION 8: PROGRAM TERMINATION CONDITIONS

8.1 Voluntary Withdrawal

Participants may voluntarily withdraw from the program at any time by providing written notice. Standard refund policies apply as outlined in Section 6 of the general Terms and Conditions.

8.2 Program Termination for Non-Compliance

The program reserves the right to terminate a participant's enrollment for:

A. Payment-Related Issues

  • Failure to maintain payment plan obligations after reasonable notice and opportunity to resolve

  • Serious delinquency with approved financing partners

B. Academic Performance Issues

  • Failure to complete program within the timeframe without prior arrangement

  • Repeated failure to meet academic standards despite support and intervention

  • Failure to maintain satisfactory attendance without communication

C. Behavioral Issues

  • Violation of Fair Usage Policy (abuse of staff or students, unethical behavior)

  • Violation of platform terms of service or community guidelines

  • Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation

8.3 Progressive Support Process

Before termination, the program will typically:

A. Initial Intervention

  • Identify challenges or areas of non-compliance

  • Provide support and resources to help participant get back on track

  • Establish clear expectations and timeline for improvement

B. Formal Warning

  • Written notification of serious concerns

  • Specific requirements for compliance

  • Timeline for corrective action

C. Final Decision

  • Review of participant's overall effort and circumstances

  • Consideration of mitigating factors

  • Final determination regarding program standing

SECTION 9: PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS

9.1 Curriculum Updates

The program reserves the right to:

10.1 No Employment Guarantee

While the program is called a "Job Guarantee," participants understand that:

  • The program cannot guarantee that any specific employer will hire you

  • Job market conditions vary and are beyond the program's control

  • Individual results depend on many factors including effort, background, location, and market timing

  • The "guarantee" refers to eligibility for a refund if conditions are met, not a guarantee of employment

10.2 Student Responsibility

Success in the program and subsequent job search depends significantly on:

  • Your dedication and effort

  • Your willingness to implement feedback

  • Your consistency in job search activities

  • Your professional presentation and interview skills

  • External factors beyond the program's control

10.3 Market Variables

Employment outcomes can be affected by:

  • Overall economic conditions

  • Industry-specific market trends

  • Geographic location and remote work availability

  • Competition in the job market

  • Timing and seasonality of hiring

SECTION 11: LEGAL PROVISIONS

11.1 Agreement Terms

  • Enrollment in the Job Guarantee Program constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions

  • These terms are in addition to the general Terms and Conditions for The 1% University

  • Participants acknowledge understanding all requirements and obligations

  • No modifications to terms permitted without written program approval

11.2 Dispute Resolution

As outlined in Section 16 of the general Terms and Conditions:

  • All disputes subject to binding arbitration

  • Arbitration conducted according to rules of American Arbitration Association

  • Participants waive right to jury trial and class action participation

11.3 Limitation of Liability

  • Program liability limited to tuition amount paid by participant

  • No liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

  • Participants acknowledge job market variables beyond program control

11.4 Governing Law

  • Agreement governed by laws of Delaware

  • Exclusive jurisdiction in courts of Delaware
